• What does FreightPOP’s Transportation Management System (TMS) do?

FreightPOP’s TMS centralizes transportation execution, including rate shopping, carrier selection, shipment creation, dispatching, tracking, freight invoice audit, and transportation analytics.

• What does FreightPOP’s Order Management System (OMS) do?

FreightPOP’s OMS manages orders procurement to creation to fulfillment by connecting order data directly to warehouse and transportation execution for accurate routing, shipping, and visibility.

• Does FreightPOP offer a Warehouse Management System (WMS)?

Yes. FreightPOP offers a native WMS that can be deployed when warehouse execution needs to be managed within the FreightPOP platform. It is not automatically included and can be enabled based on operational requirements.

• What warehouse capabilities does FreightPOP support?

FreightPOP supports receiving, inventory management, picking and packing, dock scheduling, yard management, and warehouse visibility, tightly connected to transportation workflows.

• Can shipments be processed directly within FreightPOP?

Yes. Shippers can create, rate, tender, dispatch, and track shipments directly within FreightPOP without switching between systems.

• Can FreightPOP integrate with existing systems?

• What is FreightPOP AI?

FreightPOP AI is the intelligence layer built into the FreightPOP supply chain platform. It works across all three pillars — order management, warehouse management, and transportation management — reading live shipment and system data to recommend actions, handle routine work, and surface the exceptions that need a person.

It isn't a separate product or a chat window bolted onto the side. FreightPOP AI operates inside the workflows your team already uses, at the moment a decision gets made.

• What can FreightPOP AI actually do?

FreightPOP AI is a set of named capabilities, each handling a specific job rather than one general-purpose assistant:

• CoPilot — process shipments and access information from desktop or mobile using natural language
  • MCP — exposes core FreightPOP functionality and data for use in any external workflow or AI tool
  • Accessorial Recommendation Agent — recommends accessorials for LTL shipments at the time of address validation
  • Tracking Agent — proactively monitors in-transit shipments and flags exceptions that need attention
  • AI Auditing — reads uploaded PDF invoices and compares them against the original freight quote
  • Load Planning — discovers shipment consolidation and mode optimization opportunities

• Do I need FreightPOP AI to use FreightPOP?

No. FreightPOP is a complete supply chain platform without it — rate shopping, dispatch, tracking, warehouse execution, dock scheduling, and freight audit all work on their own.

FreightPOP AI is additive. It takes work off your team inside processes that already run, which means you can adopt the platform first and layer AI on when you're ready.

• Is FreightPOP AI included, or does it cost extra?

FreightPOP AI is available as a packaged add-on in three tiers, each including an annual allotment of AI credits. Pricing requires a conversation to understand your unique shipping workflows.

• Can I use my FreightPOP data in ChatGPT, Claude, or our own internal AI tools?

Yes. FreightPOP supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which exposes core FreightPOP functionality and data to external AI tools and workflows.

That means your logistics data isn't locked inside a vendor's chat window. Your team can query shipments, pull rates, or trigger FreightPOP actions from whatever AI assistant or internal workflow they already work in.

• Does FreightPOP AI make decisions without my approval?

FreightPOP AI recommends and surfaces; it doesn't quietly act on your behalf. The Accessorial Recommendation Agent recommends charges at address validation, the Tracking Agent flags shipments that need attention, AI Auditing surfaces invoice discrepancies against your original quote, and Load Planning identifies consolidation opportunities.

In each case a person sees the recommendation and decides. Your routing guides and business rules stay the system of record for how freight actually moves.

• How is this different from other TMS vendors that say they use AI?

Two differences. First, FreightPOP AI runs across order, warehouse, and transportation management rather than transportation alone — so it can spot a consolidation opportunity that only exists once you can see orders, inventory, and freight together. Second, every capability is a named agent doing a specific, verifiable job you can watch in a demo.
